Review submissions. Where you submit a review, we collect the name you provide, the rating you select, the text of your review, and the date and time of submission. Reviews appearing on this website are genuine reviews submitted by users of Orbis Studios, and are published together with the name provided.

Purchase information. Where you purchase Orbis Studios, we collect your email address and the status of the transaction. Payment card details are collected and processed exclusively by our payment processor. They are not transmitted to, received by, or stored on our systems at any time.

Correspondence. Where you contact us by email or schedule a consultation, we collect the information you elect to provide in that communication.

Technical information. This website and its supporting infrastructure automatically record limited technical information, including internet protocol (IP) addresses, for the purposes of operating the website, maintaining its security, and preventing misuse. This information is not used to identify individual visitors and is not combined with any other category of information described in this Policy.

Usage measurement. This website records aggregate measurements of the pages that are viewed, the approximate country, device type, and browser of the visitor, and the website, if any, from which the visitor arrived. It further records the occurrence of certain actions, being the selection of a booking link, the commencement of a purchase, and the download of Orbis Studios. These measurements are recorded without cookies and without any identifier capable of identifying you or of following you between visits or between websites.

We use personal information only for the following purposes: to supply Orbis Studios and the updates included with your license; to publish reviews; to respond to correspondence and scheduled consultations; to maintain the security and integrity of this website; to understand, in aggregate, how this website is used; and to comply with applicable legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not use personal information for advertising, for profiling, or for automated decision-making of any kind.

This website employs an aggregate usage measurement system, operated as part of the infrastructure upon which this website is hosted, for the sole purpose of understanding how the website is used. That system records the information described above under Usage measurement. It does not place cookies upon your device and does not assign to you any persistent identifier.

This website does not employ advertising or social media tracking pixels, session recording, or any other technology that tracks visitors across websites. No profile of you is created, and you are not tracked after you leave this website.

Browsing this website does not place cookies on your device.

All resources required to display this website, including fonts, images, and payment network marks, are served from our own domain. Browsing this website does not cause your browser to transmit requests to any third party.

Orbis Studios is software that operates locally on the user’s own computer, by means of artificial intelligence provider accounts and application programming interface (API) keys that the user obtains and pays for directly. It is not a hosted service, and it requires no Orbis account.

Accordingly, prompts, uploaded materials, and generated images, video, and audio are transmitted directly from the user’s computer to the artificial intelligence provider the user has selected, and are governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy. Orbis Media does not receive, access, store, or train any model upon such materials. API keys and generated output remain on the user’s computer and under the user’s control at all times.

Orbis Studios transmits no telemetry, usage statistics, or crash reports to Orbis Media.

Your license to Orbis Studios includes updates for as long as you use the software. Email is the means by which those updates are delivered, and your email address is used for that purpose. Update communications form part of the product you have purchased and are not marketing communications.

We do not send advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or otherwise make our records available to any third party.

Each update email contains a link by which you may withdraw from further update communications. You may also withdraw by contacting us directly. Withdrawal does not affect your license or your ability to re-download the software; it means only that you will not be notified when a new version is released.

We engage a limited number of third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf. Each is engaged for a defined purpose, and none is permitted to use personal information for its own purposes. These providers perform the following functions:

• Payment processing and the issuing of receipts (Stripe).
• Delivery of update communications (MailerLite).
• Consultation scheduling, where you elect to schedule a consultation (Calendly).
• Website hosting and supporting technical infrastructure.

We do not sell personal information, do not disclose it for advertising purposes, and do not otherwise disclose it to any third party except where required by applicable law or legal process.

Published reviews are retained until removed at your request or at our discretion. Purchase records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. Email records are retained until you withdraw from update communications. Technical information is retained only briefly and is deleted automatically thereafter.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold concerning you, request its correction, or request its deletion, including the removal of a review previously published. To exercise these rights, contact us at team@orbismedia.ca. You are not required to state a reason, and no form is required. We will respond within the period prescribed by applicable law.

Residents of Canada hold rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Residents of the European Union and the United Kingdom hold rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Residents of California hold rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We extend the substance of these rights to all users, irrespective of place of residence.

Orbis Studios is offered to adults. Neither this website nor Orbis Studios is directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from any person under the age of 13.

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page. Any material change to the categories of information we collect will be communicated to purchasers by email rather than introduced without notice.
